What does HVC stand for? Hoosier Van Congress It is an Indiana based Not For Profit Organization to organize and to promote vanning. Before 1989 it was called Hoosier Van Council. In 1989 a group of 40 vanners from clubs and individuals joined together to revitalize and renamed it Hoosier Van Congress and made a full force charge at saving Vanning in our area. Starting in 1995 we began Hosting an annual event called “INSTITUTION TRUCK-IN” Beginning our eVant at Black Swan Lake Camp Ground in Medora Indian and now has been changed to be known as Clear Springs Indiana. After moving a few times and now after a couple years of being back at we are now celebrating our 14th year. "INSTITUTION XIV" “BOOPIN’ GOOD TIME” The membership however has dwindled some over the 14 years. Then God has called a couple members home to be with him. However the ones that are left give you this guarantee. To give 100% to be sure you have a 2% good time!!!! So come visit us again this year if you have been here before and if you never have visited with us then mark your calendars and give us a visit September 5th – 7th 2008
